Very pale complexion

Although I have dark eyes and brown hair, I have always been very pale in the face, and in certain lights it doesn't look too bad. But under fluorescent lights my skin looks yellowy-grey, really disgusting, and you can see all the freckles and imperfections really clearly. Yuk.

I have tried blusher, bronzer, everything to make my face look normal, but it always looks completely ghostly. The worst thing is that my arms are browner because of the sun, and my face doesn't seem to go brown in the same way. So it always looks as if I'm ill or something.

I may be slightly anaemic, could this be a cause of it? What can I do to make my face look normal?

Thanks for any help.

Well if you think you're anaemic see the doctor (or if you dont like blood tests just buy some multivitamins) but if not then you could try foundation or something to cover up imperfections

Dont worry about how you look under fluorescent lights, they dont make anyone look good.

To the others - thanks - is being anaemic serious? People have told me I'll grow out of it, but I dunno...can you get iron tablets in the shops? Or do you have to get a prescription?
