Free dom from the Pill: The Contraceptive Patch (My experiences)
I've noticed a lot of worrying about the pill threads generally in H&R, so I thought I'd share my experiences of using the Patch. And hopefully provide a possible alternative, which you may not have considered.

no scares. change it once a week. as long as you have a patch on, you're fine. only if you don't wear one for 48 hours are you in any trouble

same as the pill in all other aspects - same hormones. same 'patch-free' week every month

doesn't come off. i've been swimming in pools, and the sea, showering, saunas...

only one variety atm, so if the hormone balance isn't right for you there's no alternative yet.

slightly painful, like taking a plaster off, when you remove it every week.

This is a good thread, I got the patch from my doctor but didn't use it due to worries 
Not many people know about the patch and I think creating awareness is good.

wow i wish id known about this last week, i may not have got my implant, my poor are is still covered in one huuuge bruise
