Registering Online

I just attempted to register online, and I ended up at a screen that said -


No active containers SITS_NO_CONTAINERS

Now I have no clue what to do...

Yeah, but on the site it said you could from the 11th.

I tried it and I got this message:

There is an outstanding fee debt against your record. This may be due to fees owed from a previous year or because you have yet to make an arrangement to pay for the current academic year. Unfortunately, this means we cannot allow you to register online at present. Please email the Casheier Office at [email protected] at the earliest opportunity to resolve this matter.


I'm assuming it's because Student Finance haven't processed my application for the tuition fees grant yet. :confused:

i also get the "There is an outstanding fee debt against your record..." message!
i think i got the answer as to why though: on this yellow paper i got with the Law welcome pack it tells me:

In order to complete on-line registration you will be required to have:
1. Sent back your Acceptance Form, passport sized photograph(s), and proof of any outstanding conditions relating to your offer.
2. Paid, or made arrangements to pay, your tuition fees for 2006/7.

I'm still getting an error message.

I think the 'outstanding debt' message must be to do with not paying the fees yet.

I've got the 'outstanding debt' message as well, then I tried to email them like it says, and that email is obviously not active because both my gmail and hotmail accounts failed to send the message!
Yup! I got the outstanding debt message too. Funny thing is that I called the loads people today and they said everything has been approved! I guess I'll wait a few days and try again. Its possibly though that they will take to the 18th to process all fees to all the students. :smile:
yeah me too. did we need to da anything about our finance after we were accepted and all that? i may have done something but i cant remember. :redface:
Im really confused about the whole finance thing - are you going to pay the university once you get there or now? For accomodation, i mean.
we don't pay until we get there for the 1st term. i think the deadline to pay is the 20 october.
