brace problem

i'll be getting my braces removed in a month, i was wondering, will i miss them? tell me about your experiences.

first time you have them off your mouth feels all baggy and your teeth feel slimy cuz its the first time you will have felt them in a long time but after a few hours you completely forget you ever had braces!

It feels odd to start with and it seems as though your teeth are huge cos your not used to seeing them all. But probably you won't be without braces for long as you'll soon get some form of retainer (not intending to sound pessimistic!)

nah u wont infact its the best feelin in the world...although remember and brush ureteeth once u get them off cus they'll be all slimy and u'll have some yellowish stains around where they were fitted.. when i got my braces off u couldnt stop smilin and showing off my straight teeth :biggrin:

Yeah, it's the best part of it to be honest! They polished mine up for me when I had mine off a year ago, and I was walking home and grinning into car windows so I could see them! (cars without people in, that'd just be scary for them!)

I have crap teeth (they're very small), so braces were pointless for me, but still it felt good when they came off...

Just remember to wear the retainer otherwise they may start moving back, and your teeth wont be straight! :|
