Certificates Question

I know that GCSE certificates will be sent to schools/colleges on 31st october.

I am just wondering, when are the certificates actually made? Would it be about a week before they're sent to schools/colleges?

They are meant to arrive by 31 October. In practice they appear over the preceding 2 weeks. Often late re-marks mean that some of them have to be sent back for the grades to be corrected.

If I resit in june, will I be given 2 certificates?
Which one will count?
also, are the certificated generally given at school or posted to individual students?

If you take a qualification more than once then you get 2 certificates. For UCAS you would have to declare both, but most employers would only care about the higher grade.

How certificates are handed out depends entirely on the school - some have prize-giving ceremonies, some post them and some expect you to come and pick them up when you can be bothered. If they haven't been collected after a year they can be destroyed.
