I have just started my A2 levels, I study History (AS grade: A), Business and Economics (A), World Development (A) and English Language (B) however I aren't a big fan of English. At uni I would like to do something Business/Finance/Accounting/Economics related, would dropping English Language and doing an EPQ based around Business/Economics/Finance etc. be a good idea? or will universities prefer me to have English Language as a fourth A2?

Thank you!

A fourth A2 offers no real advantage to you, especially as it's not particularly relevant. What may be a good idea is AS Maths, because some areas of Economics will be looking for maths qualifications, and can be useful for business, accounting, and finance. An EPQ sounds like a better idea than the A2, as it is relevant to the course you wish to study.

Edit: What you may want to check before you make a decision is how the universities feel about your subject. They may actually prefer you to keep English if they feel World Development is not a suitable subject (may only be accepted a fourth one).
