Visa for interview

Hey guys, I need a Visa for Oxford interview. Yet I think I have to apply for Visa before the invitation letter. So what kind of Visa should I apply and will my application be accepted or not? Thanks!

Which country are you from, and what course are you applying for? :smile:

If you're not applying for Medicine, and live outside Europe, you can normally have a Skype or telephone interview.

There are some instructions from Oxford at http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/international-students/Interview-arrangements-for-international-students

If you did need/want to come to Oxford it looks like you might need a Visitor visa https://www.gov.uk/general-visit-visa

Check if you can get a fast track visa. That arrives in 4 days or so (at least in India). Last year, I got my visa before the invitation to be safe but didn't book flight tickets. It was about £80 so not cheap by any standards but I thought it was a risk worth taking.
