If you want to read Human Biology is it better to do Human Biology A-level..

...instead of Biology A-Level? Or is it best to do Both at the same time???

Also what job can you get if you read Human Biology instead of Biology?

thanks.....

Heya, I'm going to put this in the Biology forum for you as you should get more responses there.

You should also check out the forum to see if there's any other threads there which might be helpful to you! http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=129

Definitely don't do both at the same time! You always choose one or the other: it's wasteful studying both biology qualifications.

Studying human bio at A-level won't advantage you for going onto a human bio degree, in an admissions sense or in a learning sense!

You can get a lot of the similar jobs because both biology degrees will consist of a similar broad-base of study, but the difference is that a human biology degree will focus a lot more on anatomy and physiology, whereas a general biology degree will focus more on other members of life on earth: the various taxa of animals and plants, with not as in-depth A&P. Keep in mind that if you do a general Biology degree you can tailor your interests towards human biology if you want.
