Am I the one who should be feeling guilty?

One of my close friends has recently done some work experience and she told me about the son of the person she was working for and how they had been texting each other. She also said that the only reason she was texting him was because she was 'bored' because of no guys she liked being in her life and didn't actually like him as more than a friend at all! I then met him at a party we both went to and we got on really well. We arranged to meet up but I checked more than once with my friend that she was ok with him and I meeting (before we met) and she assurred me that she was. Things have since become slightly more serious between me and the guy (my friend doesnt know this) but I'm not sure what he wants to happen once he's off to uni, as much as I would like to keep it going. Anyway my friend said she was fine with it and seemed fine to me at first, but suddenly she's gone completely off with me. I'll try and have a conversation with her, and then she'll said the minimum possible back and then talk to someone else instead! Just generally making me feel like a complete b****. Obviously if she had liked him (which she told me she didn't before we'd met, and also on the night that me and this guy met) then I wouldnt have done anything with him, but she told me she was fine with it! Is this some kind of girl jealousy thing, where because he liked her but she doesnt like him, she still feels like he is hers? I'm so confused, and feel like an idiot when I try and chat to her and she's not having any of it:frown:
thanks,
x

Friend stealer. She wanted him all to herself. Has to share now. She said it was ok so she didn't sound unreasonable. You should have known better.

She sounds jealous that she isn't getting the attention anymore, I bet you have a nicer personality and are prettier too. Why waste your time on 'friends' who are going to be jealous, just have fun with this guy - you never know he may want to continue while at uni.

Oh, get over yourself.

OP, your friend gave you the go-ahead repeatedly, if she's not happy then it's entirely her own fault, you've done nothing wrong
