So I have read my needed texts for my comparative coursework. I only need a partner text. Hence, I read 'Journey's End' by R.C. Sherriff and unfortunately, there were no quotes related to my theme (physical hardship).

I was wondering if anyone has already read
Keith Douglas poems selected by Ted Hughes
War Poems by Seigfried Sassoon
Regeneration by Barker
Henry V by Shakespeare

Does physical suffering appear in any of these, so I can purchase and read them? I hope not to be disappointed like I was with Journey's End (great story though!)

Thank you.

I studied Journey's End in year 12. I also studied War Poems by Siegfried Sassoon and Regeneration (did WW1 Lit at AS year). I got a B on my coursework. We had to compare Journey's End to Not About Heroes and then do a separate essay on Birdsong.
