Additional Science or Core Science

I am an 18 years old student willing to take GCSE science as a private candidate.

Any suggestion would be great.
Shall I go for additional science or core science as I really dont know the difference between them!

Well it's been 2 years since I did my gcses but I did triple science.
So I did core science which is the basis ,then additional science which is a bit more detailed and Then further additional which is A lot more detailed.

So to complete additional you'd have to do core science modules PLUS the additional science modules .
Like I've said core is the basics and additional goes into a bit of detail.
If you were to do just core you'd get 1 qualification .If you did additional you would get 2 qualifications.(1 from the core modules you sit and the 2nd one being from additional modules) .
I'd do additional .
But you can try out core first .If you feel you are finding it easy/do-able then definitely do the additional modules :smile:
