R'n'B and hip-hop clubs in manchester

So are there any specific clubs in manchester area best for R'n'B and hip-hop music ?

Babygrand and Mtwo vary their music but i know that on thursday and saturdays Mtwo play hip hop but i'm not sure about babygrand days, last saturday it was hip hop but some nights they just play what's popular now or old chart hits that everyone loved etcccc

M2, BabyGrand are the main ones, but Loaf and TigerTiger might have a night of it too.

i know m2 and babygrand defo do cos i been there a few time myself.. paparazzi i think does also. From what i can gather quite a lot of clubs have at least one night where they play r'n'b/hip hop so there is deffo somewhere to go every night of the week!

my mate does the PR for Mtwo sumtimes. He says the best nite for rnb is thursdays :biggrin:

if the nights are same as last year and the year before, these are the ones to look out for:

Monday - Loaf, Tiger Tiger (didnt like it last year, the year before was amazing though) or the new club - Opus
Tuesday - Teasers (never been to this night)
Wednesdays - Paperazzi (small, prison-like, but it occasionally plays old skl hip hop etc love the music here....saw rio ferdinand in there too!)
Thursdays - MTwo or Babygrand (i think MTwo is most preferred by freshers....but me and my friends over did this night last yr and got so sick of it by the end...nevertheless... good night out!)
Friday - Double Vision (MMU Student Union)

yea its true they are overpriced, but for students coming from london and surrounding areas, the prices are so much cheaper than back home. i think in general, hip hop n rnb clubs are much more expensive than those such as 5th ave etc , which are mostly targeted towards students (in my opinion). but seriously, the prices hardly deter people from going out in these places - theyre always packed!

I like all this Rnb/hip-hop ish sometimes, but Is there any places that do more straight up hip-hop rather than this "urban" ting?

If you like underground hip-hop then Peanut Butter Wolf, Madlib, Jrocc and Percee P r gonna b in Manc 4th Oct for the stones throw 10th Anniversary.

N Public Enemy R gonna b in Liverpool carling Academy same date as well! (bit of a trek)
