Sleeping Around

I saw this on another thread and thought I'd bring it here  It seems it doesnt go on as much in cambridge. Is that because people are too busy with other commitments or are people generally more fridget?

For starters, fridget is not a word.

fridget! what a strange word
it's either a mistype of frigid or some strange thing
are there people that like fridges?
Reply 3
lol @fridge-thingies!

probably because like in oxford colleges..all you have to do is talk to someone (& perhaps kiss them.. ) at any college function/in public & the next day you're both guaranteed to have people you only tenously know ask you what exactly's going on.. fine when it's a gossip thing i suppose, but a bit more intrusive if you're not sure yourself & actually do care!

plus, once you've got a certain..ahem.."reputation" i can't see it being that easy to shift.

i did make myself the rule of no other medics & no one from my college. whoops.

well..whilst i'm still together with the college-person it's not too much of a mistake i hope..

Helenia - which year are you in..? cos my problem with the no-same-subject & not-same-college rule was that i must spend ~1/3 my time with medics (& once you've done living anatomy sessions on each other, you are bonded! ) ~1/3 with college people & the other part sleeping/working & the randoms you can meet on nights out aren't always that desirable!

1st year. And I suffer from exactly the same problem - medics and Clareites are my main social circle, and there are several eligible ones within those groups. I have managed to almost evade the horror that is Clareifornication (gossip column in college newsletter) so far though

I imagine it could get very difficult to do anything unless you were actually going out with the person if you wanted 2 avoid the college wraith.

But then, I suppose that similar awkwardness could happen within uni halls of residence elsewhere.

Tough one. Boarding school girls tend to be rather randy and probably make the best lovers but obviously there will always be exceptions. Your state schoolers i'd say would be more up tight in general as they have probably had boys around them most of their lives.

Rather a sweeping generalisation, I'd say.

Manslut!

Why is it that my boards "hubby" as well as my college one are both male whores of the first water?

Rockindemon - you will probably never know who my evil Nicci is, but she was one of the main causes of my misery from age 13-18.

Nah, I was young and experimental like most boys at that age. Those were the days, at inter-school balls you just got your mate to tell a girl you fancied them and you were in. Those were good days

Oh I had evil Nicci too
