Why? They're all far away and I'm not about to convert. I shall have to remain a heretic.

Worth is only in West Sussex. Not too far away...

You don't have to convert, go and I'm 100% sure you will feel differently about faith.

Indeed he is, went on to acheive a 1st class honours degree in medicine from Christ Church college Oxford.

Is your dad/mum of similar catholic schooling?
Suzy_vet

I think my next door neighbour went there...not sure though.

You forget I am actually a Christian. Just not Catholic, and it's not a large part of my life right now

Download my free offering above. You might change your mind when you get to sing such things

Hehe, I get to sing prettier stuff than that anyway! (And yes, some of it e.g. Mozart's Requiem is principally Catholic). My school was always good for singing, but the choir here just blow you away. And although a couple of them are Catholic, obviously it's a CoE chapel.

No.

Why not?

I would be very surprised if the choir at Cam isn't led by an Old Ampleforth boy. They have the rep as the best in the country.

Because I haven't got money!

Lucky them. We don't have Head Choristers though, and I don't know what school they went to anyway
JUSTaGIRL
I own a CD produced by the monks and choirboys of Downside. Hope you're suitably impressed Joey.

Yes it does. Keep the money rolling in. The priests at downisde are assets poor.

What is the crap? I felt like I wanted to break down in tears. Hardly anything to get me going. Do you not have anything a little more cheery and uplifting - this song is a trifle depressing if not downright morbid. I need something that will me make want to seek out my nearest [non-abusing] J.

Do you sing? Like this? How awful.

It is rather uplifting if you understand the lyrics. Ask your tutor, I'm sure he will be able to recite said lyrics almost off by heart.

What would you prefer? 'smakin ma bitch up' and all that.

I did sing in church but not choir or anything.

Erm, the extent of ritual and the whole hellfire and brimstone thing. Not that I know too much about it, but that's the impression.

And I know Clare choir has a good rep - I've heard them countless times and sung with them last term.

Ask Joey how the two fit together - I'm far too innocent to know these things.

Joey, are you saying you went all the way with a 14 year old? How old were you?
Helenia
No, I'm going to hell. Brideshead Revisited, Angela's Ashes, Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man and my next door neighbour have scared me off Catholicism.

Hahahaha

Yes, that is all I wanted to say.

15. I was young an innocent. Probably foolish, but there we are.
