Basically if you do OCR exam board it's 2 exams covering modules 1 & 2 of each science. If you also do additional science which the vast majority do (it won't have come up as an extra gcse option it's basically carrying on from core science) you'll do another two exams with modules 3 & 4 of each of the three sciences. In each exam regardless of combined or additional it'll be exam 1; b1, c1 and p1, exam 2; b2 c2 p2 etc. Hope this helps, and tips for a B just make sure you do your coursework as thoroughly as you can and take all of your teacher's advice because it can help bump up your final grade if you think you did badly in the exam! It's worth 25% on OCR! Another tip is find out which exam board you're on and basically swallow a cgp revision guide, those things are great as they're not boring ( I got As in my sciences with these! )

Those that take separate (triple) science do 3 exams in Biology, Chemistry and Physics and get 3 separate GCSE's.
Those that take double science do 3 exams in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. The grades are combined to get 1 GCSE.
Others just take one core science exam for one GCSE, I believe?
Hope that helps.
