Yeah but the entire bus is empty. What do you get by sitting next to them? A lot of people would find that awkward, especially a random person just chatting with you to be honest.

They were pretty cute babies was kinda weird how they became so attached to me

You must have kind eyes. Apparently that's makes a child/baby trust you more!

I think you need to find another way of making friends..

Personally I'd find that a bit weird. There are other seats yet you decide to sit directly next to someone? What's the point?

do you talk to the people you sit next to?

I smile at them at first, wait for there reaction.

If they smile back, I spank them.

The bus is empty find your own f***ing seat, I used to hate it when people do it.

It is similar to when I park in a empty car park and some **** with a old £500 car comes and parks next to mine.

That's hardly comparing like with like though. I mean what are those cars going to do while you're not there, if there's no other cars around and they're at other sides of the car park, they can only glance at each other in depressed solitude, where as if they are parked next to each other they can talk about their life's and make a new friend.

......I mean everyone knows cars talk to each other when people aren't around right? That **** has been made into a movie so you know its true.

Personal.
Space.

The seat next to you isn't your "personal space".

You must give that up anyway if the bus is full. Does that mean it's invading personal space?

If theres enough space they are perfectly within their rights to move and sit on their own.

Because I see everyone as a potential friend and therefore try giving them the same opportunity to get to know me.

looooooooooooooooool You serious?
That sounds totally weird, I think a lot of people would be freaked out, unless they are very open people....and things like this don't work on buses in major cities compared to small villages/towns to be honest. As everyone's generally more concerned with their own life.
Consider taking up a sport at a local club or something.
