Well I'd quit smoking: bad for your health, everyone around you and your bank balance.

That's just tuition costs (and it's wrong because you get your fifth year and later on the NHS), you also need to take into account living costs so it's more like 60k, maybe a little more.

OP, it's not really worth worrying about, hardly anyone will pay back their student loan within the 30 years or if you do it'll be about 20 years or so after you graduate.

Tuition fees - £9000 a year. Little way to escape it unless you get fee waiver as part of a bursary.
Total on a 5 year course: £36,000 (assuming NHS fifth year fund)

Accommodation - expect £3600 for 1 year private accommodation and £4500 for 1 year of Leeds' accommodation, according to Unistats.
Total on a 5 year course: £18,900 (middle-of-the-road accommodation)

Living costs and pocket money - £50/wk should cover food, other essentials, a bit of socialising, although £60-80/wk might be better if you're keen on going out and drinking. Plus maybe £15/wk for smoking.
Bills... no idea. Sorry.
Total on a 5 year course, 52 weeks per year: £22,100 on £70/wk, 52wk/yr.
[For just uni, which is 39 weeks per year: £16,575]

Books - maybe £200-300 for the standard books on a course, could be cut down even further by not buying new books, loaning from library, etc
Suppose £50 for printing over the 5 years.
Total on a 5 year course: £350

So that comes to... about £77,350.
