wanted to know..u guys think with your head or with your heart? in situations like love and carrer decisions...what do you think with. do you go with what your heart says or do you think by your head?
in short," does the mind rule over the heart of the heart over the mind?"

im damn confused..need to do this for a project and i cant think by myself alone..pretty complicated eh? help me out guys!

Well when it comes to Love, ive always used my heart but some reason everything else is a bit of both but I would say mainly mind.

mostly with mind, but sometimes heart....but if it's love, then starts off with mind, but heart takes over eventually

I'd go with the mind isn't there a saying brains before beauty though looks and a strong kind heart are important factors to me though.

I tend to make decisions with my head, but in the paast I've missed out on romantic opporunities by doing so, so I took a chance recently and went with my heart, I don't regret it for a second becasue I'm now with a wonderful man. When it comes to careers, education etc I always follow my head, its considerably more logical, I guess it depends on the situation :confused:

errm.
it really depends on the situation. eg when dealing with love matters, i feel i should listen to my heart but my mind always contradicts it.
i tend to use my mind more than my heart. my hearts filled with faith if anything, when i have feep conversations with people i never think, so my heart does all the talking.

metaphorically speaking obv.

yea, i guess it also depends on experience a person goes through.

but i guess most ppl make a decision based on a combination of heart and mind.

I tend to use my heart but unfortunately most of time I make a mistake this way. When you're in love your mind is up there in the clouds and you heart becomes your mind ...in the end you feel sorry you didn't not put your mind back into place... and it hurts...

I'm in a bit of a problem over this at the moment. I like this guy but in my mind i no he isnt right for me as i have had problems with him before (but never whilst going out with him) my friends tell me he isnt right for me. But that still doesnt stop me liking him in my heart.
So in answer to your question i really dont no.
Suppose just do what feels right for you.

I think wen it comes to relationships u should always go wiv wot ur heart says. U cnt make decisions wiv ur head bcoz itz jus not right. Love isn't about bein tactical or doing wot u think is best, u jus follow ur heart n ur instincts. But, wen it comes 2 otha things like work then I think itz best 2 use ur heart & ur head 2 make the rite decisions. That way u do tha rite things but ony if u truly wan2.

In my mind, I should have opted to go fo runi aand go into university accomodation. But I've opted to follow my heart and am commuitng to uni from a flat I chose to share with my boyfriend.
My mind tells me that at this age, anything like this won't continue long term. My heart tells me I don't care, but that my mind can take over advising me if the situation should need altering.

Bit of both really but i think my intuition, gut feeling and common sense help me with making my decisions. Not sure which category they fit in, so id say both mind and heart :smile:
