does anyone know if it's possible to change preference college choice after you've applied and received confirmation letter? I'm really regretting the college choice I made (in haste the day before applying...)
Oooh lots of Josephine Butler people! I was beginning to worry it was going to be one of those colleges no-one applies to because it doesn't have the history and all that.. which would be nice but I do like the fact that it's all shiny and new!
Course: Archaeology College: Josephine Butler
I thought the same about people not applying as much, but oviously I got that wrong. Have to say, I haven't heard much about what the college is like, being newish and all.. Any opinions of it from people already there? I suppose it would be too much to hope Josephine Butler had its own toastie bar as well..
At least wait until you visit the college, you never know, you might change your mind
hmmm I'm afraid thats the thing...it was visiting durham that made me change my mind (though I was pretty unsure before that). I'ce applied to St cuthberts, but would really like to change to St chads (though I know its a lot harder to get into). My reasoning at the time was that my priority was to be on the bailey, and that st cuthberts was my best chance of that. However I didnt really look properly at the size of the colleges, and I would really really favour a smaller one. hence my change in decision. As my application hasnt been looked at by a college yet do you reckon it would be possible? Or would it give me a big black mark next to my name so-to speak? Any help would be v gratefully appreceiated!!
I dont know I don't c why u cant ask. Ive applied open and am not sure ill like the college im given but in the end u always have ur other 5 other choices or may be able to change when u get there (and obviosly ull have fun wherever you go bla bla bla).
*is incredibly ignorant* What's the Bailey? Also, got two MORE letters from Durham today... saying the exact same thing as last time... So apparently they've received my application 3 times now? Hmm, if only that made me 3x as likely to get in...
