Damn I should have applied for Economics & Finance - according to the stats page, 138% of applicants get accepted! Now that's what I call good odds...

Don't worry about it.

Physics interviews at Durham are mainly just a friendly chat. My interviewer told me anyone who gets an interview is pretty much in.

I got an offer (AAA) for natural sciences (mathematical) at University College. I didn't have an interview or that though, maybe there aren't interviews for my subject. I'm still waiting on MMath though.

Ditto, exactly the same date! I want something! I want my Durham track thingy, like everyone else seems to have.:p:

Do you know why dome people seem to have gotten the Durham track thing in a week and others have been waiting for over a month anyone? :confused:

I thought it was just for my course, but reading through this thread I real some people have already been 'forwarded to college' for it.

i waited for mine for about a month.
they received my application on the 5th of October and I didn't get my letter until November. just wait for it--the letter will come soon =)
and anyways, the Durham track isn't very exciting :p:

My application for natural sciences has been received by the college. I applied on October 9th and this happened on November 17th. Does this mean I have an offer then? There seems to be a lot of conflicting information flying around on this thread! When do you think I'll hear whether or not I have been accepted by a college?

I'm quite looking forward 2 staying up in Durham actually. I've never been there before so it'll be gd 2 see how i feel there as well as being fun.
Yeah, to be honest the whole way durham conducted their interview process was a major factor as to why I am here now and not in London

Yeah, it means you've got an offer from the department, and so from Durham University. Now you're just waiting to see if the college has room for you... (I don't know when you'll find out though)

Well, I checked Durham Track, and my application hasn't been passed to college, so I've stopped checking UCAS Track, a long wait ahead methinks.


What's Durham Track??? :confused:

^^^ after you apply to Durham, you should get a letter by post with your password to use Durham Track--which basically allows you to see where your application have gotten to at Durham (by the Department/College etc.)

if you haven't gotten a letter yet, don't worry.
i didnt get mine until about a month after I submitted my application.
Heh, I've got an offer and I still don't have my Durham Track letter through.

Haha yeah, I received my Durham Track letter after getting an offer too. And it said, "due to the slightly different admissions process in Durham, we may take a little longer to reply to you than other institutions to which you have applied." :p:

Well it's true - there are 2 stages at Durham as opposed to only one at other institutions that don't have colleges.
