How do you know you've made it through? Plus I'm sure GCSEs aren't everything!
The top little bullet point dissapeard which I think means you've passed the basic univeristy entrance criterea (which I think they do on GCSE so they can cut down the number of people they have to look at). At my school school the two people who didn't get past that step both had reasnably low GCSE (well not low but u get the gist). And both had done relativly well at AS level. I don't know I think thats how they do it but I agree I think GCSEs are definatly not everything but I think u need them to get past the first stage.

I think that happened with everyone's application, it was mentioned in a thread elsewhere...

There was one saying 'your application has been received by the university' or something. The rest of it's absolute *******s though, I'm fairly sure. It's quite funny really.
I just wanna know where im going so I can look into it. Do u reckon when my appkication is sent to college they'll tell me where?
It shouldn't be too long till you get an offer/rejection once it's been sent to a college, as all they have to do is find out if they have room for you and then make you an offer or give you to another college. Of course, there could be some really lazy people sorting out the offers at some colleges...

Well that's happened to my application too and I have no A*s at GCSE. So lets not presume things eh.
4 year course = 1st year live in, 2nd year live out, 3rd year in/out, 4th year in/out - but you can only choose one of these years to live in.
Also, at other colleges it is possible to live in in both 3rd and 4th year. You just get a lower priority in the 4th year which may mean that you don't get a room after applying for one.
I've been offered a place at University college to study history!!!!!! I'm so happy. I can't believe it. I love Durham so much! Sorry, just had to shout out!!
