Anyone applying for combined honours in arts? Or anyone who has made an open application?
yeah i applied for combined arts; got rejected today in fact! eesh..waiting for English now (applied for both). PFL xx

Rejected today for combined hons in arts. Found it right before my exam, great. I'm pretty gutted as I'd stupidly set my heart on going to Durham. Ah well, Bye durham sub forum-ers.

Through post, which is funny, I live in Germany and the post takes ages. UCAS and the Durham enquiry service haven't updated...

UCAS isn't great. Sent me a thing saying I had an offer (well to be specific it had updated) so got my hopes up only to find rejection I had heard about 2 weeks earlier:p: .

that's true, but it'll be just like rubbing salt in the wound a bit. It immediately made me panic and think about a gap year or something but to be honest I think I'll get over it and got to Edinburgh :smile:

True I felt like that with the cam forum:frown: (I edged out slowly and have now gone cold turkey for 1 week). I hope u enjoy edniborough and if you decide to take a gap year I might c u at another uni. :smile:

Sympathy to everyone who got rejections, I agree y'all should just hang out here anyway, I mean you did apply right? That's what the thread is all about :p:
I'm just hanging around waiting to see if Durham wants to be an insurance or what.
Oh my god! I finally got a letter from George Stephenson College saying that they're inviting me for a post-application open day at that College. Can't wait to meet some of my 'future' colleagues:p: I'm also hoping to meet some of the current students on that college too.:smile: So be nice to me:wink: hehe Roll on 21st Feb. :smile:

Ahh wish Id applied for NatSci.:smile: Couldn't cope with the Chemistry (which is actaully slightly better this year).And no I still have no college its like secret santa (but stretches along way past xmas) I just don't know who ill get. I'm desperate for an imperial offer if I can get in (which is pritty unlikely). Never wanted to go to imperial untill I actaully went there and it looks great. Though I havent been to durham yet. Warwick will probably b insurnce and if either of last two give offer it will probably b first.

Wats ur insurance?
I got a letter in the post today, got all excited, then found it was the one which said "we won't make a decision on you till late March."
