Yeah its on the 9th of Feb and am kinda looking forward to it (though I'd much rather not have one). And am so glad its not like cambridge interview that would deja-vu nightmare style :p:. A chat with admissions tutor would be nice but I still need to come up with a question (any idea welcome). Norways must b a cool place to live (especially now) why come to England when u live in such a great country?

ahh good luck! (to be honest I think that means you're in! ) hmm,I can't think of any good questions at the moment though..
Norway is cold!! it is a nice country I must admit, however the universities are not very good I'm afraid, so thats why I want to come to England..
Well, after your interview you have to tell me what imperial is like! I am still not sure about living in london though..:s-smilie: have you visited Durham? or are you going for an open day or something?

Awww! Poor babies! I got my letter 2 weeks after I sent my application off. Then I rung the admissions lady telling them that Brunel wanted me to fill out a scolarship form and that it must be checked by my accountant so i would have ended up paying him like £20. They said they will consider my application early but it still took another two weeks on top of that to recieve my offer!

I'm off to Durham (Trevelyan!) on Wednesday for an interview (theology). I'll let you guys know what I think

Tell the truth I'm a little annoyed with Durham, they're taking longer than normal for my course this year it seems. They're not being as rude/disorganised as UCL though.

Tell me about it! Last year my friend had an interview at UCL in November after which they said we will get back to you within 4 weeks. They still hadn't got back to her by March, so she had to phone them up to find out that she got an offer! Durham seem to be taking longer than usual for my course too.
My thing changed to "received by a college" at the beginning of December and I still haven't heard anything - is it possible that they're waiting for a decision from the other course I've applied for?

Give them time or ring them up and tell them to move their asses!

don't think so. Friend of mine (well actaully ukebert on previous page) got recieved by college a while ago and has just got the dooming "wait till March" letter. Im not sure why their keeping people waiting. But u never know u could be lucky:smile:

Pinkfairylights and Bex., sorry to hear about your rejections for combined arts :frown: I expect a rejection is imminent for me, too, then...

My rejection for Combined Arts just came through :p: .

Sorry to hear that. Unlucky, all three of you.

I'd best start my own countdown to rejection, especially as I was (presumably) doing the same subjects as Bex. :frown:

No offence - But your personal statement might have been stronger!

Yeah, just because you are both applying for the same course doesnt mean you will both be rejected!

Yeah. I thought that after I'd posted. They have to give places to someone! I hope I'm one of them, but I must say, I'm rather pessimistic.

One rejection for Combined Arts for me:s-smilie:
Oh well I applied for Modern Languages at Durham as well so no big deal, I wasn't expecting an offer for Combined Arts anyway.
EDIT: And Durham track is officially crap, hasn't even changed since the rejection!

My, they're really dishing them out, aren't they! Hopefully you'll fare better for Modern Languages

Is it meant to change to anything? Would it just go straight to "A decision has made, please see UCAS"?

Well it should at least look bloody different to what it's always looked like!
Yea I hope I fare better in Modern Languages too, I've got the "we're not likely to let you know anytime soon" letter though:rolleyes:

O, god! Durham is the rejector of all UNIS!
I was very glad to get an offer yesterday from Durham. I was worried I'd be waiting another month :frown: Good luck to everyone else!

I keep hearing about people at college who've got accepted at Durham...it's making me depressed :frown: I have to keep in mind that none of them are for Modern Languages though (although one girl has one for History and Spanish...). I hope I hear from them soon!
