French, primarily, although I might pick German up again, not sure yet.

I *think* you can only do German if you have an A2 in it. I could be wrong though, although if you prove your level to be high enough after AS then they let you. They let my friend do that in Spanish anyway.

Me three! :itsme:
am i the only one who hasn't heard yet for english at the castle :'(
Finally, an offer.

Bit wierd though, I applied for General Engineering at Cuth's (2:1 applicants to places), but got an offer from Hatfield (9:1 applicant to places). Why? I'm quite pleasently surprised, I mean Hatfield seems to be a nice place but still. Anyway, the conditions are AAB, which is average for the course and the offers that I have got elsewhere.

Probably just to do with the number of Engineering people who applied to Hatfield compared to Cuths. I know someone who got put into Hatfield to do Physics on an open application.

Awesome. What are your thoughts on accepting/declining the offer?
I'm going to have to do some thinking, I don't know. I'll download the course doodaas, and have a look at the. Does anyone here know anything about Hatfield? If anything it'll be my insurance. However, since Cam wants 4A's, I may end up going to it.
is anyone in here coming to the philosophy open day next tues/weds

Hatfield is the 2nd oldest college in Durham, it has really old buildings and nice grounds. It's located on the bailey, so it's really convenient for town and only 10-15 mins walk to where your lectures would be. I'll wait for Judith, Chris or Kathryn to come along and tell you what it's like to actually be a part of Hatfield college, because I go to a superior one, so couldn't possibly comment...:p:
Thanks
