Harry French whats the difference bw grove+court?

anyone know what the difference is? i'm in the grove, will i get a full length mirror? x

The Grove has nicer furniture, nicer showers and a nicer kitchen. I did previous neglect to mention the layout of The Grove until now, when u brought up the whole keycard thingy. The West Grove (I've never been in East) you share a corridor with 5 other ppl. Bathroom wise, you have a shower with a toilet as a bathroom, and a separate toilet. I prefer the Grove but never been fortunate to live there.

owwww. i applied for the grove as my 2nd choice but was given the court (my 3rd choice) ;( ... lucky you!

+ the other thing is in the grove you get the tap water thing more separated to the rest of the room. in the court we have the water thing inside the room. (that's what i've heard at least)

by water thing, do you mean a sink?hehe. I didnt know there was lots of different choices with harry frnch i sent my form off any everythin but rang up to check if they'd recieved it and the woman on he phone just asked where i'd applied for and i just said harry french and didn't specify which bit and i got sent the grove, i didnt realise it was such and honour till you guys said its posh and i'm lucky! :biggrin:

theres pictures up on this site somewhere on this site that someone has posted as a reply to one of my posts and they're pictures of harry french but i dont know if they're hf court rooms of hf grove rooms? if anyones got any of the grove that'd be really useful!x :smile:

Where's the link? I can tell u where they are of!!! All Harry French rooms have a sink in your room which proves useful (which a mirror above it). I don't know if you have full-length mirrors in the Grove, I can't recall seeing them. But I recall something to do with a full length mirror hidden in the wardrobe.....that may be the case for Grove. Peeps on Court definitely have a full length mirror!!!

If you're in one of the self-contained flats in HF court, does that mean it has some form of bathroom or do you share a shower room with other people on your floor?

Check out my other posts, I've mentioned it thousand times over, just search for me! Self contained studio flats are normally for post-grads, never known a fresher to have one! you don't share with your floor, you share with your corridor so its 6/8 people to one shower or one bath/shower (if you're lucky)
