Everyone seems to be on a downer about summer, but I think it's displaced frustration about other things (eg. exams, what to do with the rest of your life...). So I thought I'd start up a thread about the great things that are around in the summer. I love...
    SUNSHINE!!!
    Flowers
    Water-fights
Driving around with the windows down and the volume up
    BBQs
What do you love about the summer?

    agreed.

the best thing to do is to have a friend drive and you sit in the back seat with a WATER GUN and pull up beside some people then squirt them with water then drive off

    Spring is good, summer isn't.

    Too hot.

Mind you, two things I like about summer are the long holiday and summer rain showers.

A two minute burst of rain in 30degreesC heat is wonderful.

I know its a corny one (and I'll probably get loads of hayfever sufferers on at me for this - I'm sorry, I really dont mean to rub it in!), but the smell of freshly cut grass is great too!

No, I find summer far too hot. I have really pale sensitive skin, so I burn and get heat rashes, and when it's close, I get too hot and sticky, yuk.

Spring is just right, and there's blossom everywhere.

If only the post-exam summer holiday had spring weather..

This must be really frustrating for you ....

Continually posting and continually being deleted.

Posting on a forum might be sad.

Trolling on a forum is far sadder.

What do you love about the summer?
    When college breaks up.
    World Cup / European championships.

And the ice cream van comes round here all year round anyway, so that isn't on my list.

    Now, you're not wrong there..

A 100-pack of Flintstones ice pops filling up an entire freezer drawer, with the orange ones always left til last. Now that's summer.
