Hey guys,

Currently studying a BTEC Extended diploma in Media

This is really frustrating me out as I do not want to study media in University I am very interested to study :

1)Theology and Religion( Did well in RE have a very keen interest in this subject)
2) Psychology (No background grades to back up)

I know I will get great Grade outcomes in my media course to over meet the requirements however does it matter if I am a Media student applying for such subject? I need a mentally visual confirmation on this ..

Thanks

You can apply for any course you like, but...

How will you demonstrate that you have the required skills?

How will you demonstrate your enthusiasm and commitment?

It's very unlikely you'd get an offer for psychology without level 3 qualifications in a science subject. However, you might be eligible for a foundation year at some universities which would enable you to access a Psychology undergraduate degree.

For theology and religion, universities may be more lenient regarding the subject you studied. Check their websites to see what sort of BTECs they will accept for the course.
