Keeping up apperances (Neighbour feud)
Okay here goes, my neighbours and my parents used to get on swimmingly together. They used to visit each other every 2 to 3 weeks for a bbq or drinks and discuss their familes / the news ect. Both my parents and my neighbours are quite "proper" in that they would never discuss anything to do with sex or the like, and come from strong christian backgrounds.
This is where it get's embrassing, my room is upstairs (through the walls is the neighbours bedroom) and downstairs below me is my parents. One day I was masturbating for quite a while (maybe 10 - 1 minutes) during the night and then went downstairs to get a glass of water. My dad was up and said "did you hear that... sound?" - I acted the fool and said yes and then said it proberly came from next door. I mean how could I tell my dad that it was just me masturbating loudly upstairs?
Anyway, since this incident which happened around 2 months my parents have basically ignored my neighbours and don't invite/visit them anymore. I feel really guilty as it's all my fault but at the same time I just can't stand the though of telling my dad the truth.
This is a sticky situation. Should I come clean or keep the truth to myself?

I wouldn't feel the need to confess as it's probably not the real reason that your parents are avoiding your neighbours, there must be something more than this issue.
Even 'proper' people have sex.
if it is the reason your parents are avoiding your neighbours they'll get over it soon enough.
