questions ~ meeting someone from t'internet tomorrow

What do I need to be aware of?
Should I tell a friend where I'm going and give them her number?
What precautions should I take?

We've got on great so far but I really wanna know these things, just in case she's a axe murderer or a tickle monster who fancies the pants off me or something like that. Just to be safe really.

Make sure someone knows, and be 'late' meeting her, like just watch from somewhere to make sure it's her and then just go say hi :smile:

And just make sure you’re in a busy place!

The fact that he is a guy has nothing to do with it - women can still be dangerous. Make sure two people know where you are, and just be sensible about where you go. Don't be anxious though: ninety nine times out of one hundred everything is fine. :smile:

If you're meeting in a public place, I can't see additional precautions being necessary; you come across all kinds of strangers in public places - the characteristic of public places being that anyone can visit them - so meeting someone from the internet shouldn't be any more dangerous than going to a public place normally. If you end up going somewhere more private, that's when you want to inform someone of where you're going.

Please make sure at least one of your friends know where you will be going.

Meet in a public place.

Perhaps arrive a bit late so you can see from a distance whether the person you were expecting to be there is there or if is someone completely different...in which walk away.
