Warehouse Project

Anyone going to it??

It looks absolutely amazing - The Old Boddingtons Warehouse for 12wks only with some of the best DJ's in the world!
============================================

The Warehouse Project will run from Friday 6th October to December 31st 2006, with around 25 licensed events on Fridays, Saturday and the occasional Sunday/Midweek event. The venue is the converted Boddingtons Brewery building, located at the end of Deansgate next to the MEN arena, and the party is expected to start running in October 2006.

They say: "The Warehouse Project presents around 30 concerts and unique music based events each bringing a vast array of DJs and live acts to Manchester. A real melting pot of the world’s most innovative and important artists and performers; The aim is to create a truly original enviroment where we can party and watch something special unfold."

The whole Warehouse Project looks interesting, although we're not sure what the building looks like inside after the renovation work. One thing is for certain, it won't look that much like a brewery as the heavy duty machinery was sold back in April.

What are the drink prices?

I don't mind paying £3 a drink but anything more will be crap. No problem though because I'll be drinking before I go and just top up!

£3 for a bottle of grolsch or a single smirnoff and mixer. Think it was 2 quid for a bottle of strathmore mineral water. Can't remember the rest, going again tonight though so might see. The flavoured vodkas are a bit more expensive than plain.

Reply 14

It's about 3.50 for a bottle of beer but you can get a vodka + mixer for a little bit cheaper...tis well worth it you'd pay the same price at sankeys or the music box for not nearly the same quality of acts or venues...

To be honest i thought the venue was awful! It was freezing cold even inside and took us an hour to get a drink.
