Wearing Hijab/Niqab/Burqa at IC

Why when British people visit muslim countries are they expected to follow the local tradition and wear appropriate clothing/follow the law- yet muslims come here and think they can take their school to court over what clothes they wear and suggest we all live under sharia law?

By the way, I've read a few more of your posts - many were alarming, others downright hilarious. You intrigue me love2learn7, you really do. Maybe one day I too could embrace a misanthropic, cold, dispassionate, narrow, lopsided, superficial and not-just-a-little-bit ill informed view of people that don't look/behave/live/speak/think/smell(?) as I do

I was born and raised in Britain

i am a newcomer it doesnt mean that i have to be abused and just because my british language isn't as eloquent as anyone elses - i was born and raised in pakistan...

I was BORN AND RAISED in Britain...I am a British person...but I am from Pakistan...does that make me a badman, no it doesnt but just because I had the audacity to dare say I was born and raised in Pakistan I am subjected to mockery and laughter and such.
It probably doesn't even matter that I was born and raised in Bangladesh! I am not angry luvbster...why accuse me of such evil? I am an ordinary decent person just trying to make her way in the world. All I need is a job, some money, a house for me and my children and my husband, and a passport so I can go and visit my family!

I do not want to make war tami - i am on your side. All I want is to wear my british hijab when I want, where I want and not allow anyone person to stop me doing what I like where I like, as this is my right as a British citizen. I am not in the Tamil tigers, nor have I ever been a member of the Tamil tigers, and have not ever even been to Sri Lanka and as such do not know any Tamil tigers.

I am totally against fascism in all forms, especially when elected as part of a democracy as is the case with Tony Blair who would shoot me like a wounded dog in a second if I were in my home of Iraq, burn my house, smash my road and plane bomb down my children like rabbits in an British farm.
He would tear the Hijab off my face and tread in it, then strip me of my burka as has been mocked before by his Jack Blackburn, before making me leave on a ship with the bnp that he holds so dear.
