Need help with English Lit coursework

I'm doing the AQA course for A2 english lit and we have to write an essay based on a topic of our choosing and with novels of our choosing, up to three choices (including criticism as one if we choose to include it). Ive chosen a general topic of freedom (political, moral, expressive, cultural, freedom of masculinity/feminism, the whole lot) but not the exact question yet. Fight Club is my first choice, but I am unsure about my second choice, which is Julius Caesar. AO3 involves comparing/contrasting the novels and I'm not sure Julius Caesar would be a good book to contrast with Fight Club. What I'm wondering is if anyone has any better ideas for a second choice or if you think Julius Caesar would be a good choice.
