Tips for staying on top of as level workload

I've just embarked on my first year of as levels and I am finding staying on top of all of my work a real struggle - how do people manage homework\free periods\study.... Anyone got any handy hints to stay on task?

There are no free periods. Only work periods. Make sure you never end a day without having understood everything you have learnt in that day. Do homework within 2 days of getting it.

Motivation will make you much more successful so look at all the great things that will happen when you succeed and then put in %100 to make them happen.

^ what they said, any 'free' periods you have must be used for work, especially if you lack motivation at home. It's easier to work in an environment where you have lessons and are already in that frame of mind.
