problem resolving forces in r and theta components

Hello, this is a polar coordinate problem

I need help resolving v into its theta and r component. Here is my diagram:

Problem is, I get Vr = - V cos theta and Vtheta = - V sin theta. The answer in my solution manual is the other way around. What's wrong with my diagram?
