hello, can you tell me the average price for a FULL a-level maths course as a private candidate around london. i'm planning to do edexcel maths, with the following modules: c1, c2, ,c3, c4, s1 and m1.

is there a deadline for applying?

also if anyone did any of the science a-level as private candidate, can you tell me the prices and how the practical assesssments were conducted and is it more expensive than a non-practical subject such as maths.

    thanks.

I'm doing my practicals at a local private exam centre, they're charging extra because they're private but I would deffo recommend you finding a school or a college to do ur practicals, if u ask them.

The exam board charges the centre about £16 per unit, the amount the centre will charge you varies from £16 to £100 so it pays to shop around. Anything under £30 per unit will be a bargain.

The exam board normal price entry deadline is 21 Feb but many centres will close their books to private candidates before that so get looking soon (- though the centre won't get the software to enter anyone for another 4 weeks or so.)
