Will medical universities accept this subject.
I'm chemistry, biology, maths and travel and tourism?

If not please suggest a suitable fourth A level that will be accepted (I want to take medicine).

Popped this in medicine for you, someone should be able to help you here.

Travel and tourism is a no-go unfortunately! Maybe take geography or something similar if you like the humanity-flavor subjects.

I can't see why you can't take travel and tourism - as long as you get an AS Level at the end! When researching unis I've never seen them ask for certain AS subjects or not allow some

Have you ever cast a glance at the UCAS website, then? Virtually every med school lists subjects they won't accept (often General Studies and Critical Thinking as a minumum, sometimes others as well, and occasionally a group of subjects that will not be accepted in combination).

    No biggie.

I had a search for info when I originally saw this thread but couldn't find any info jumping out at me about 'Applied' A-level subjects. I'm afraid I suspect it's because they're so very definitely not favoured that it doesn't bear mentioning!

That's a big assumption to suddenly make. Even the infamous Trinity blacklist only lists Travel and Tourism as "A-levels suitable only as fourth subjects". If they don't want applied a-levels, they need to tell people.

I think, as a 4th subject, its fine.

I've contacted a few medical universities and they said they would accept Travel and tourism as a fourth A level or any other subject except for General studies and critical thinking.
