Okay, so my sixth form is really bad, especially at giving help at uni applications. Can anyone give me any help as to universities to look at?? I'm predicted at least BBB, and I live in Bedfordshire, so any universities around that area, or even further afield would be fantastic :-)!!!!!!!

Lol, Naa. My friend told me that her sister got into Bedfordshire uni with DEE in her A levels, plus it's always at the bottom of the league tables (Guardian) for every course, so I don't think it's a good uni if I'm honest. But you can always use it as a back up!

If I'm being serious I would suggest Birmingham as I went to the open day and it was lovely

If BBB is your lowest prediction then you can certainly do much better than Bedfordshire uni (no offense to and Bed. students) but they're ranked pretty low and take students with somewhere around 200 UCAS points.

I'd suggest having a look at uni's around the Midlands area if you're not looking to move away. Perhaps Aston or Leicester? Then there are the uni's which were in the 1994 group which ask for around BBB including Sussex, Essex and Royal Holloway though this would involve you moving a bit further away.

Have a look at the UK university league tables (but not the Guardian one) for an idea of the current rankings.

Good luck with whatever you choose

There are loads of unis you could look into!
Canterbury Christ church (280 ucas points)
York St. John (280 ucas points)
    Sunderland (260 ucas points)
    Teesside (260 ucas points)
    Sheffield Hallam (300 ucas points)
Leeds Beckett (formerly leeds metropolitan) (300 ucas points)
    Northampton (280)
    Northumbria (320 ucas points)
    Essex BBB
    Huddersfield (320 ucas points)
    Hull (300)

Where do you want to live? And look at the course each uni offers. Not all the modules will be the same.
