I've been told that I can do an AS level for one of my subjects, due to my results...
I can take the offer or turn it down, but am wondering, do I get points for UCAS from AS? Will this add to the points I will need for university?
If so, what are the points for certain grades?
    e.g. A = ? UCAS points

    ASAP help...

Yep, you can put it on your UCAS form when you come to apply to university and it will still count. Goes without saying that they're not worth as much as having full A2 grades though it's still a few points in the bag.

Here are the points that AS grades are worth:
    A - 60
    B - 50
    C - 40
    D - 30
    E - 20
    U - 0

Also worth noting that before you decide to take it on, many of the higher ranked uni's will want 3 A2 grades when they make an offer to you, for example ABB, in which case having extra points with an additional AS grade won't do much to help you.

Good luck with whatever you choose
