I changed my bank account from Lloyds to Santander, leading to my Lloyd's bank account being closed. The account is currently under the 'uSwitch' scheme therefore all payments/direct debits that were originally linked with my old account automatically redirects to my Santander account. However, given my old account is the account my student finance will be paid into I'm worried that Student Finance hasn't been notified of my bank account change. Do I have to notify them myself even though I transferred using uSwitch or will the bank notify them for me?

I would recommend you change the details yourself. You can do so online through your account. This will prevent any issues.
