    Hey how is everyone..

I'm in the middle of writing mysecond statement, I do have a lot of personal experience in the areas of mental health and family and childcare social services, just struggling on what to write for number 3 as I don't want to come across damaged if you know what I mean, thinking I mite just keep it honest and simple.

I struggled with Q3 too for the same reasons. Mine was hard to write because it was personal. I kept mine brief and to the point. Thank you for giving me the address.x

I think I heard back roughly two weeks after I sent back my second personal statement so don't be worrying !

Its in 2 weeks approx! So nervous! Been trying to just read up on lots of current issues, and writing out interview questions and trying to practice saying answers but probably on the day I'll just be coming out with word vomit ahha!

Also, I remember along with my interview date they sent a sheet of paper with guidelines on stuff to look over. They asked questions related to all of the things mentioned in the guidelines. Also know your values and professional social work values! Massive buzz words atm, as well as anti-oppressive practice.

As above, know your own value base and why you want to be a social worker. Know your professional social work values and the NISCC Code of Practice. Read up on anti-oppressive practice and you need to be able to talk about a certain area of social work and what it is that social workers in that area do, e.g - mental health, gateway, older peoples services etc. Also, I have always been asked about discrimination in some form. Could also be asked about social work skills such as communication and observation. Good luck
