yea i am tho as u say it will b intense and i am a little nervous about trying to get back into doing assignments and all again but hopefully it will all come back to me and will b worth it.
Do u have any idea what area of social work u would like to work within or gain experience from placement in?

Guys anyone that has chosen uu rgr the induction two days are Monday 14th and Tuesday 15th sept. I rang magee jus today as i have a holiday booked over lapping these dates. I am home wed 16th..typical.
are any of u in a position like this r anything?

yeah same im not great at writing essays though better at exams but o think its ok as they arent worth as much because of placement and stuff.im really interested in working with children and mental health what do you want to do

Aw i dislike exams big style,very much looking forward to placements tho.
do u know if we have many assignments r anything to do whilst on placement?
im interested in exactly same as yourself. Have u much experience in either of these then?

with mental health a bit but not with children im not sure but im guessing placements worth more than assignments youd think so anyway

Im really not sure how it all works i just heard it was pretty much all go from day one in rgr. We'll have to put r heads down.
where have u worked or volunteered within mental health?

ive volunteered with womens aid and started samaritans a few months ago and been a carer for my sister what about you

U have lots of experience then.
i volunteer with child line both on the helpline and in primary schools. I also volunteer with voice of young people in care.so i would mentor teenager's mainly who r in foster care and set personal goals for the young person to achieve with my support.

Will u b working through ur degree then?

thats amazing you will be able to hit the ground running then yeah i work part time in a coffee shop as well but it will be hard to manage both with the degree
