Stop worrying!

With all that booze, partying and takeaways you'll have put it all back on in a month!

Just relax and enjoy yourself!

what did you do to try to lose weight?

I've gained probably 10 pounds of muscle this summer. It's a shame the weather is too crap to justify wearing vests, I was looking forward to showing it off. :frown:

I tried to lose some, and then something went wrong and I think I put on a little. :hmmm: Such is life.

i tried to lose weight before uni in that i thought 'oh perhaps i should lose a few lbs' and then on at least one occasion i had slim-line tonic water instead of regular tonic water with my gin

i just wanna be feeling confident when i'm off to meet a load of new ppl, and it's a shame i don't! i'm healthy, exercise quite a lot, and i'm not fat or anything, just a little more curvaceous than i wanna be. but reading other threads, apparently size 12 is 'fat'

It's your fat content that determines how fat you look, not your size.

has anyone actually managed it? I tried and probably only lost about a pound :frown: now i'm hoping being in self catered accommodation and being really busy will help....... damn i'm annoyed.

My advice is cut on sweets and fatty things... Do some sport or go to the gym.. DO not eat too much bread, try to go for salads and meat like chicken or fish and lots of fruits
Ive lost 3 1/2 stone since i started uni...it can happen. Join a gym! Really does work...if you go!

don't think you picked up on my irony!!! i'm also horrified ppl think size 12 is 'big', it's what has been said on other threads, and i think it's ridiculous.

I don't think anybody is trying to claim that size 12 is fat, just that it's bigger than some of us may prefer.

i just dot think yo should worry about it.

yes, some guys prefer skinny girls, and because i am so skinny myself i am one of them, but its not as if i shun anyone who is size 12, or dont find any size 12's attractive.
