Alas Labour has been defeated! It was to be expected after some 7 consecutive wins. Congratulations to the Green Party! Commiserations to the Parties who suffered most!

By gum, I expected a Green gain as they fit a popular niche in terms of ideology on here but 156 smashed it! Congratulations to all. The libers seem to have been smashed to a pulp though.
As for our vote share, five seats seems reasonable enough. Our manifesto wasn't as strong this year and the competition was tougher but hey ho. -

I had a strange feeling that the Greens might win.

Do the greens believe they will be able to adequately fill 13 seats, considering it is a massive jump from before?

Congratulations seem in order for the Greens, though not surprising given the general political spectrum of the overall forum. -

We do have quite a few active members, so fingers crossed they'll all want to be MPs.

To be fair to you Greens, if there was any party on the left deserving it was you. For consecutive terms the Greens and Tories have arguably been the active parties.
Very shocked it happened now though, i've not seen anything that might explain the jump.
..
At least the opposition of the last term gained 1 probably via our liberal allies. -

By the Sainte-Laguë method:
Soc: 5
Lab: 9
Grn: 13
Lbrl: 5
Ltrn: 2
Con: 8
UKIP: 7
M_L: 1
So the Tories lose a seat to the Libers by that method.
