There's never many postal votes, but each election, we offer the option for people who encounter problems while voting. Faland and I then double check that they meet all the criteria and then confirm the count near the end of the election so that they can be added on.

Shall I send the postal votes to you to confirm who they are for so that we can add them in? There seems little point in delaying the revealing of the results now that they're known.

1 in 4 chance that Greens will gain and Liberals lose on postal vote.

Bloody Norah. Did not see that coming one bit. I won't lie, I'm concerned we'll be stretched to put bums in seats, but what a result! I expected gains but nothing above 8 seats. Commiserations to all who lost seats.

In all likelihood, yes. But will it be an Ampelkoalition, or will the Republican Alliance get a second term? (Or is SU17 planning a coalition with UKIP or the Tories to surprise us all?)

Really? That would seem a weird combination.

Green-Lib-Tory would be a majority. I believe the Germans call that combo a Jamaica coalition (because their Tories are black).

The Loony-Left alliance will continue . However, seriously there has never been a party of the right in coalition with a party of the left, I suspect that there are reasons why. Imagine me and Jean-Luc Picard, sharing a sub-forum, enough reason there why it is not going to happen. Anyway Libertarian-UKIP-Conservative is at 17, 18 if Matt joins. Not a bad government there.

Libers and Matthew would be easy enough for them to control.

There's about as much chance of that as humans living on Mars.

This could be an interesting week which sees a different coalition combo appear for the first time in a while :beard:

I know I'm coming from a biased position but I'd feel uneasy about the prospect of the biggest party not being in government.
