    The reaction used in the experiment was Li2CO3 (aq) + CaCl2 (aq) ---> CaCO3 (s) + 2LiCl (aq). CaCO3 was hence recovered as the precipitate in the exp. I have two specific questions...

    What two compounds are being removed when you wash your product with water?
