Hi guys,
Basically, I've got a serious gambling problem and have lost quite a few thousands over the summer - and some of my overdraft for Uni.
I used to self harm, and since stopping that, I've done this basically. I'm not sure what it is that I get out of gambling in honesty, I don't do it to make money that's for sure.
Having realised I've got a problem, I'm planning on revoking my membership to certain sites etc. but I noticed someghing. Having made my Betfair account in my friends name due to mine being locked for whatever reason, do I have any legal grounds to claim the money back as all the cards I used were in my name etc. and this would have been quite clear had they checked.

Sadly I don't think you'll be able to claim the money back. Maybe take this as a call to sort it out. Ask your bank to block your card for these places. Good luck.

Thanks for your advice, do I have anything to lose by asking them? I don't want to have any legal proceedings brought against me or anything of the sort.
