Hi! I'm a little bit irritated now. I got my a level results A*A*B and after the worst week of my life I got into Durham anyway. I put in the B for a priority remark on results day, hopeful since it was one off an A and I worked so hard for it -_-.
Anyway a few weeks passed and I became a bit concerned that I hadn't heard anything. So I called the school and they said they'd get back to me as soon as they heard. Another few weeks...called and the exam officer wasn't in. Just got a call from the school saying that by human error my remark wasn't registered and that it was unlikely to be considering it is now 3 days past the deadline for a normal remark.
I'am infuriated. I know I still got into my university, but feel as though I deserve that A in all three A levels. It's a bit of ego thing, because my confidence in getting what I set out to work for had been severely knocked. And I know people at Durham will have much better grades than me (history).
Is there anyway I could appeal this with the exam board, considering I did everything right? I paid for it and signed it and did everything accordingly.

That's absolutely not fair!
I think you can appeal. Ask for your money back from the school! They probably didn't send the money off either.
Definitely try to appeal, and explain this awful situation to the board. That's completely not fair!!!!
