Out of interest, can anyone give any differences they know of between the above? No matter how insignificant!!!!

They're pretty similar - big, rich, prestigious, quite academic, well located, three year accomodation; but also a reputation for arrogance. Depends if that's what floats your boat really.

Lots and lots and lots and lots of British Prime Ministers went to Christ Church. However, Tony Blair went to St John's.

More than Cambridge kerching! I'm at Chch if you want to ask any specific questions but they do share many similarities. Christ Church looks better than Johns. (students and buildings)

Agreed. Christ Church is very attractive, but I would say John's has more of an academic reputation. They're both stinking rich though.

yes. and my room is quite big, so it needs it on for quite a while for the whole room to heat up (especially when its cold outside - theres not much insulation)

Dude! I saw that on the website, charges for heating...Is that just a ChrCh thang, 'cause I haven't noticed it elsewhere??

Christ church does of course possess the beautifully picturesque (!) blue boar quad displaying stunning 1960s architecture

Blue Boar's not that bad. It's the most social of the quads.
