I have to go to inductions all week and everyone is already in groups talking and im just stood by myself? I don't know what to do

I know that feeling. The best thing you can do is to find a group from your course you think you'll get on with, approach them, introduce yourself and ask if you can join them.
When I travelled around parts of Europe by myself that's what I did. I would go up to a friendly group of people and say, "Hi, i'm ****. I'm looking for friendly poeple to talk to so do you mind if I join you?"
Making the first move is always hard but after that first line, it'll be a breeze. Trust me.
