I recently missed out on my offer for medicine and so I am taking a gap year. Some of the unis I'm reapplying to have asked for some kind of reflection on the need to resit modules and I'm really not sure what to say. I don't have extenuating circumstances by the way! Any help is appreciated

Say something around the lines of "I am so motivated to study medicine that I am going to retake some modules" (obviously, don't phrase it like that ). This way, you turn a negative (resitting) into a positive (motivation).

You can also say something about being hardworking and that you will step up your game so that you can cope with the work load at university.

Check out the medicine personal statement Wiki where there are a few examples.

I don't remember which ones are gap year PSs. I'd suggest that you search from the latest PS (108) to the earliest (1)
